Ladies’ and Men’s Cambia Sport Zip Neck Tshirt

Last month we showcased our new technical Summit Hoodie and Fuera Ascent are an exceptionally versatile mid layer/windproof combination for worldwide summer alpine and multi-activity use. Designed to offer the equivalent functionality and protection as our top of the range Aspira Smock or Jacket but with added flexibility, it’s harness, rope and helmet compatible and suitable for temperature extremes of -20º to +20ºC.

This month we introduce you to our New Ladies’ and Men’s Cambia Sport Zip Neck Tshirt

Cambia baselayers are unique in offering two levels of cooling in one garment – due to their construction from reversible Parameta® T. They are lightweight, stretchy and very rapid drying – ideal for use on their own or under a Páramo Waterproof or Windproof.

The Cambia Sport Tshirts are carefully styled to minimise flap and maximise wicking during high energy activities. The distinctive panelled, two-tone colourways are now available for men and women as a vest, short sleeve and long sleeve Tshirts, and NOW, the latest addition, a short sleeve zip-neck for extra ventilation. Páramo attention to detail is apparent, with flat seams and a zip garage to maximise comfort at the neck.

Ladies’ and Men’s Cambia Sport Zip Neck Tshirt spec:

A high performance short sleeved, panelled base layer offering optimum ventilation from deep chest zip. Close fitting for year round, high energy activities where minimal loose fabric and flap is an advantage – on bikes, running etc.

Unique among technical Tshirts & base layers, reversibility means two fabric faces allow you to fine-tune your comfort level simply by choosing which way out you wear the Tshirt. Maximum versatility from reversible function!

  • Very versatile garment – ideal when worn on its own or as a base layer under Páramo Directional outer layers.
  • Reversible – 2 Tshirts for the weight and price of one!
  • The smooth face of the fabric reduces pooling of perspiration to eliminate cold spots after exercise.

It can't be just me, surely, that thinks the the limited colour range of these new tops exceeds even Paramo's usual awfulness.

For women, you can only have Insipid pale grey (I have yet to see any complexion flattered by pale grey) with Fruit-bat Vomit, sorry, some strange warm orange. Or the same colours reversed.

Men fare even more badly with Elephant Blue (elephants are GREY, FFS) coupled with Baby's First Attempt. If you have ever seen the contents of the nappy of a new-born bab who has been breast-fed, you'll know what I'm talking about.

And neither of the two colours sits well with the other one. Do they employ colour-blind designers??

All IMO, but tell me it's not just me....

I think you got that blokes' combination wrong, NPC - it's clearly Elephant Blue and Moose Turd

Still, at least they got it right with the women's Velez Adventure Light
