All Natural Insect Repellant Launches
It's called DEETfree and it's DEET free and suitable for kids as well.

With the nastie midgies and other biting horrors massing for
summer, we reckon you might be interested in DEETfree a new
alternative to repellants which contain DEET as an active
ingredient.
DEET, as you may be aware, is pretty unpleasant stuff and there is
some evidence suggesting that it can have side effects including skin
irritation and worse. At the very least it smells quite unpleasant
and needs to be used carefully, particularly in high
concentrations.

DEETfree, predicatably, doesn't contain any DEET or, indeed,
Citronella, the most commonly used natural alternative. Instead it
uses 100 per-cent natural ingredients including esential oils and is
claimed to be 'highly effective' against insects.
You can buy it in pump-spray, roll-on or cream versions, but also
conveniently impregnated in SPF25 or SPF15 sun cream and even
aftersun. It's suitable for kids as well, which is particularly
welcome given that children seem most likely to develop a reaction to
DEET. There's also a candle which can be used indoors as well as outside.
We have some samples to try and we'll let you know how we get on
in due course. More details at www.deetfree.co.uk.

We've got some DEETfree stuff to use, if any Scottish-based OMers fancy pitting it against the midgies this summer, drop me a line at jon@outdoorsmagic.com and we'll see if it works as claimed :-)
Now all gone I'm afraid. Test feedback to follow in the next few weeks.
