Ten Quo Pro mapping software systems are up for grabs in the latest OUTDOORSmagic competition. Each one is worth £99, and all you have to do to get your name in the prize draw is answer one simple question on our competition page.
Ordnance Survey Maps on Quo Pro
Quo is a relative newcomer to the field of mapping software, but Dave Mycroft, OM routes editor, reckons this means "the company has been able to look at what's missing from the competition and integrate it into their software". Read his full review of the Quo Pro system for a more indepth analysis of its cons and, erm, pros:-)

So, if you fancy getting your paws on a system, make sure you enter now.
Other prizes currently up for grabs on OM include a Páramo Fuera Smock, a Vango TBS Spirit 200 Lite tent and Venom 225 Sleeping Bag, and five pairs of Bridgedale Trekker socks which go on offer every month in our photo competition.
New competitions appear on OM as often, and as erratically, as snow storms in the mountains, so it's always worth checking the competition page for the latest details.

Hi, Anybody else downloaded this yet? I signed up for the email updates via the website then went to open the program. It asks for some details when you 1st try it but wont accept my email as it says its already taken! I've contacted mapyx but wondered if anyone else is having the same problem!?! Cheers, Sean

Subscribing for the email locks you on their server - I did the same - but I've another address which worked fine. I've been on to support a few times over the weekend as I wanted to try the product (anything to get out of memory maps clutches!). They are having problems with the server connection, but at least the support is being manned by the MD! Email them and the response is normally pretty quick.
