The waterproof equipment specialist, Aquapac, has three new outdoor products
in the pipeline and due out this August
with two in particular looking good for walkers.
The first is the Wet and Dry Backpack, a 25-litre daysac with a 3-roll
sealing system that apparently makes the bag 'drench proof' along with
a large internal pocket that can be used to keep wet and dry items
separate from each other.
The pack also has a reinforced back system, quick access key pocket and
a reflective logo plus as well as being 100 per-cent waterproof, it's
also floatable. Price will be £65.
The other interesting new kid on the block is the waterproof Kaituna
Map Case which is, erm, waterproof, sized at a big 300mm x 300mm - one
foot square - and weighs just 74 grammes. The case will cost
£15 and claims to give excellent clarity, even in low light
conditions.
Finally, there's also a waterproof Pannier Backpack that will attch to
the rack of a bike, but converts in seconds to a 23-litre backpack
complete with reflective trim, compression straps and welded seams.
Price will be £95.
