Italian climbing company Grivel are changing distributors in the
UK to the Mountain Boot Company, who also deal with Scarpa boots and
Thorlo socks.
The switch from long-standing UK distributors Troll takes effect
from 20 February, though it's been the subject of speculation in the
outdoor trade for some time. The Mountain Boot Company say that
they'll be looking to 'to make substantial investment in growing
their position within the UK' which in normal speak should mean that
you'll see Grivel gear more widely available and more broadly
promoted.

be gently harangued on the merits of the 360-degree screw by Troll's inimitable bearded grizzled and massively knowledgeable mountain maestro
Andy Perkins...
