Cliffhanger cancelled due to adverse weather

Gutting news and, knowing the outdoors sports nuts at Heason Events, they’ll be devastated. I’ll be re-filling my weekend with some biking and running on the hills and I’m sure all of you guys will be sticking two fingers up to the weather and getting out there.

Richard Eyre, Head Of City Centre Management & Major Events at the Council had the following to say: “Unfortunately, following all the recent rainfall and the forecast for more heavy rain over the next few days, we have been forced to take the decision to cancel this weekend’s Cliffhanger event at Graves Park. However, the British Bouldering Championships will still be going ahead this weekend. We are disappointed to have to make this decision, as we know that many people were looking forward to the event, but public safety must always be our main concern in these cases.”

Heason Events, have already got your next adventure fix lined up with the Buxton Adventure Festival in October, sponsored by the University of Derby. Combining speakers and films and, being indoors, there’s no way the weather’s going to cancel this one!
