First UK pictures of The North Face's ultra-hip casual gear for next year. Be warned, it's for young people and it looks good.
Some time way back before the dawn of civilisation as we know it,
we told you about The North Face's new A5 collection of casual gear.
And we mean casual gear, not technical clothing being used casually,
but straight, cotton fashion clothes that you'll be able to buy in
outdoors shops. We also told you that they looked bloody brilliant
and at a decent price too - watch out surf brands.
Well, since then TNF have been hawking their pants and shirts
around Europe's trade shows and we've had an enormous computer
meltdown, but now, at last, we can show you what the stuff actually
looks like. And if you missed the earlier
installment, here's what's written inside the flies... It made us
laugh but then we're shallow and easily amused.
Anyway, this is what the new kit looks like. We'd have loved to
get TNF's gorgeous, pouting Keith Byrne to model for us, but sadly he
had a prior booking.
And the outdoor connection? It's 'bouldering inspired' and A5
itself is actually an aid climbing / big wall grade, but of course you knew that
already.

It's all in the shops come February/March next year, so don't go

web site. And no, A5's not on there either...
