We're just back from France where Gore told us all about their newest fabric innovation. What is it?

We're just back from sunny Lyons where Gore very kindly took us to
eat Thai food and tell us all about their latest fabric innovation
and very interesting it looks too...

We could tell you
but...

We'd love to tell you more but we're simply not allowed to. Not only
would we have to blow up your cat, but bulldoze your house and eat
your budgie, deep fried, between two slices of bread.
What we can tell you though is that whatever it is that Gore is going
to unleash early next year, it looks good and is 40 per-cent more
breathable. More breathable than what? Er, 'fraid we can't tell you
that either, but trust us, it looks like an interesting addition to,
er, to, well, nope, can't say.
What we can say is that it isn't a new bagpipe sack and you can't
eat it. The good news is that we have a sample of the wonder thing on
test right now and come August, we'll tell you all about it. For now
though, you'll just have to be patient or offer us colossal sums of
money to spill the beans...

My reconing it's a revolutionary new widproof fleece which is 40% more breathable but still too clammy and hot for Britain. Or maybe 40% mmore breathable gas masks. And why take you out to france for Thai food, couldnt they have done it in that really nice chippy in Skipton?
