If you have a particularly long memory - trunks up elephants with
internet access - you may remember Haglofs running a Europe-wide test
pilot scheme last year.
The idea was to involve consumers in future product development
and there were over 5000 applicants throughout Europe including
around 600 from the UK. The 15 lucky UK test pilots selected have
just received new Haglofs Climber Motion jackets for evaluation and
will be using them and giving feedback between now and the end of
March. Pictured is Mike Pescod receiving his test jacket from West
Coast Outdoor Leisure in Fort William.
The Climber Motion, by the way, is Haglofs latest mountaineering
jacket made from Gore-Tex XCR stretch. We're also using one at
the moment and it's an interesting piece of kit.
Test Haglofs kit yourself...
The last test pilot scheme was so successful that Haglofs has just
announced a new programme based around their new Paclite 3 LIM
Ultimate Jacket which weighs in at a paltry 270 grammes.
So, if you want to take part and get a free jacekt in return for
your considered opinion, just take a look at www.testpilotswanted.com
and fill in the application form.
