With things hotting up and the odd insect hotting up with it, Nikwax SkitoStop SunScreen with Inset Repellent makes a lot of sense.

It basically does what it says on the bottle, being a sun screen with an SPF factor of 20, which incorporates Nikwax's DEET-free SkitoStop insect repellent. So it gives protection from UVA and UVB rays and keeps the little biting blighters away at the same time.

The stuff will repel insects for up to six hours and is also water repellent, making it ideal for outdoor use. A 100ml bottle retails for £8.99.

Also in the SkitoStop range are a straight Insect Repellent, After Sun with insect repellent and bit relief gel, just in case it does work...

All the products in the range are DEET free to be kind to skin and clothing, are water based and also solvent and VOC free in keeping with Nikwax's environmental credentials. Nikwax contributes two-percent of each SkitoStop sale to the the World Land Trust for sustainable products.
