Ooops, is it really 4 February? Okay, the announcement you've all
been waiting for, erm, possibly, the winner of the Vango Storm
Shelter for reviews submitted to the user review system in January
is...
Paul Austin for his review of the Macpac Vamoose Child Carrier. We
liked Paul's review because it was clearly based on a lot of use,
told you what you needed to know and didn't gloss over the weaknesses
of the product while still highlighting the strengths. Oh, and
because we felt sorry for him having to carry kiddies around the
hills.

to read Paul's review.
Other reviews we rated during January were Alistair Dent's take on
his Montane
Epic jacket.
Jon Wickam on the Petzl
Duo LED Upgrade Module and Tim Greenwood's realistic assessment
of his Vango
Sherpa 60+10 pack.
And the one that thankfully got away by being posted in late
December, John Corteen's review of the Patagonia
Women's Seamless Thong. Don't ask...
Submit a review and you too could win a Storm Shelter...
See this
article for details of how you too could be in with a chance of
winning a fabby Vango Storm Shelter simply by assessing your kit on
our User Review System. No more proxy thong reviews though,
please...

Well, it's nearly the end of the month. It's getting exciting! I hope Jon is going to tell us who wins the Shelters each time as last year with the Petzl offer I only read about one guy winning one with his 'breaking in my boots' story and hadn't realised that Joan had won a headtorch until last week. It would be nice to know who the winners are so we can read the reviews and know what we need to do the impress 'the boss' LOL

Tactical errors all round. 3000 new reviews already this month. My ball-pint pen review is bound to win next month. HA! Unless joan turns up again....
