Just In - Berghaus Roam 25

Just in for test, technical looks, walking functionality from new Berghaus day pack.

This arrived the other day, it's a new Berghaus Roam 25 daypack and we rather like the look of it.

Berghaus Roam 25

The rationale behind it is that it's a sort of halfway house between the more technical climbing packs in the Berghaus Extreme range which are over the top for most walking, and more traditionally-styed day sacs like the old Dart range.

So you're getting technical styling and features in a dedicated walking pack. That includes a perforated, closed-cell foam back for better cooling and less sogginess, hip-belt with cut-outs for the bony bits and neat slant entry side stuff-pockets. The base is reinforced too and there are twin pole / ice-tool holders and a removable inner pad / sit-mat.

The 25 - pictured - is the baby of the range, there are also 30 and 35-litre versions plus a Women's Roam 30. The Roam 25 retails for £40.
