Limited Edition Hinkes Jacket On Sale

The rather neat looking limited edition Berghaus Alan Hinkes Challenge 8000 Jacket is now available for pre-order with delivery expected some time in October.

We told you all about the jacket a few weeks back, but to sum up, it's a numbered limited edition of 1000 jackets designed with input from Hinksey himself and with all profits from the sale going to Alan's favourite charity, Wateraid.

The garment's made from Gore-Tex XCR with Berghaus's exclusive Cassis face fabric for extra toughness and incorporates some special Hinkes features like hood vents to stop your goggles misting up, a full mountain hood which will accommodate a helmet and includes a stretch panel at its base and large handwarmer pockets that sit clear of a harness.

Each jacket comes with an individually numbered certificate signed by Alan himself and we particularly like the funky litte Challenge 8000 stick man graphic on the shoulder.
