Clothing using the Nikwax Analogy Waterproof system is now
available in made to measure guise from clothing specialist
Hilltrek.
The
Scottish-based outfit is a longstanding Paramo retailer, but is now
offering its own made to measure Lomond Nikwax Analogy
Jacket and trousers using Nikwax Analogy fabric - the material used to produce Paramo waterproof garments - alongside the
regular Paramo garments.
The jacket is a traditional UK hill-walking design complete with
map pockets, waterproof handwarmer pockets, a wired hood and double
storm flap. It should suit anyone who finds the standard Paramo
design doesn't quite fit them but still wants to benefit from
Nikwax Analogy's excellent combination of breathability and weather
protection.
Even better, at £200, the Lomond Jacket isn't that
much more expensive than a standard Paramo jacket in a similar
design. You get a wide choice of colours too. When ordering it's
simply a matter of entering your precise measurements on an online
form.
The company takes a 25 per-cent immediate payment as a deposit,
with the remainder once the garment has shipped some four to six
weeks later. Matching Lomond Nikwax Trousers cost £120
and are made on a similar basis.
The company plans to add to its range of Nikwax Analogy clothing
in the future with children's clothing and country sports wear in the
offing. Hilltrek also sells made to measure garments in fleece,
Ventile and conventional waterproof fabrics.
