Memory-Map and Walkingworld, the excellent UK online walking routes site, have got together to to provide Memory-Map users with over 2,000 online walking routes.

The Memory-Map software now features an index to the Walkingworld routes, which will be updated monthly and available from the Memory-Map web site. All users need to do is click the icon for the specific route they're interested in to be transferred to the Walkingworld site where they'll get a free detailed description of the route, a map guide and the option of becoming a member of Walkingworld and getting unlimited access to all routes on the site.

As a member, you can also download the route and waypoints directly into Memory-Map software so you can print your own map of the route. GPS owners can then download the waypoints to their GPS units from Memory-Map.

As a special offer, Memory-Map users can save a quid on Walkingworld membership, down from £14.95 to £13.95 for a year. Alternatively, you can download individual routes for £1.50 per route.

Memory Map users can also post their own routes to the Memory-Map site to share with other MM users. For more details see the Memory-Map site. For details of Walking World, see the web site.

Show Special

Memory-Map will be on Stand OU517 at this year's OS Outdoor Show at the NEC where they'll be running free training presentations throughout the show to help you get the most out of your software and GPS.
