New from Buff
this winter 2009 is a 100%
merino wool version of their multifunctional headwear with
all the properties you'd expect from the natural fabric and called the Wool Buff.
100% merino wool Buff in
the shops now
Merino is 100% natural, from merino sheep, has very fine fibres
compared to standard wool, so is comfortable next to the skin. It
manages the neat trick of feeling cool in hot weather and warm in
cooler conditions. It has natural anti-pong properties and finally, can
absorb a high proportion of its weight in water without becoming
uncomfortable.
The merino Buff is also slightly longer than the standard, microfibre
version, says UK importer Buffera, which makes it slightly more
versatile and - for example - capable of protection both neck and head
simultaneously.
The Wool Buff comes in seven different plain colours to suit your mood
and retails for £21.
We have one on the way and we'll let you know how it performs, looks
like a good option for winter and, dare we say it, Christmas as well.

Yes, the original Buff really strikes me as a product that needs no tinkering with, variation or 'improvement'. (except possibly some of the patterns!! )

I have a friend who is knitting me a seamless one ... I'll be 102 by the time she finishes it!
