We've been hearing a lot of good things about a new clothing
range from footwear specialists Merrell, which is due to
be launched this autumn and now we have some more information and
pics for you.
The clothing seems to share the same ethos as Merrell's range of
footwear, which is to say that it uses technical materials and
advanced construction but at the same time isn't so extreme that you
can't wear it on a day to day basis as well.
In fact, we reckon it's rather stylish by any standards with neat,
clean lines and with a design team that's come from the likes of Nike
ACG, The North Face, Oakley, HH and even Ralph Lauren, that's maybe
no great surprise.
There's lots of technical stuff in there too - Merrell Slick Seam
is a laser-cut, stitchless construction method that's extensively
used, then there's Bio-Blend, a collection of sustainable materials
meant to reduce impact on the global environment.
The range consists of jackets, vests, softshells and fleece as well
as knits, pants, skirts, tech tees and merino tops and will be
available in the shops from September '07. Some of it looks
emminently useable, other items, like the longer coat, below,
probably have more of an active casual slant.

More details when we have them, but here are some pics to give you a
scoop taste of the range.

That's all for now :-)
