New minimalist GSI cookset houses stove and gas plus all you need to cook and eat.
There's a new contender in the lightweight pot stakes due out in
December, 2009, in the shape of the
Halulite
Minimalist Cookset from lightweight specialists
GSI Outdoors
which is designed to give you everything you need to cook and eat with
a lightweight, one-person stove and house it into the bargain.
We're waiting on images -
update shortly - but above is the collapsible 'Foon' included as part
of the set. Fascinating site with some clearly well thought out high
quality cookwear using top spec materials.
The Halulite Cook-set is a complete, compact, packable collection of
cooking accessories for eating, drinking and cooking which is designed
to work with and also to house most lightweight, one-person stoves.
There's enough space inside, they say, to house a burner and a 110g gas
canister.
The cookset has five components, based around a 0.6-litre cooking pot
for basic boiling and cooking, complete with an innovative brightly
coloured, rubber finger gripper rather than a pot grab. It's even
magnetised, so you can simply stick it to a gas canister for secure
stowage.
The pot doubles as a mug for hot drinks and as a pot for eating food.
There's a removable sleeve to enhance grip and keep contents
warm plus a 'sip-it-lid' for drinking use. Finally a collapsible 'Foon'
- yes, really - which is a combined spoon, fork and knife, completes
the pack.
It's being brought in by Rosker -
www.rosker.co.uk
- and will retail for
£25.
