New Petzl SIGNAL Out Now

Tiny safety light ups visibility for night time walkers, runners, cyclists and reindeer...

Newly available from Petzl is the SIGNAL, an ultra lightweight weight red safety light aimed at night time walkers, climbers and runners.

The 22-gramme SIGNAL has been designed to be visible from over 1000 metres with 180-degree lighting upping its effectiveness. It's waterproof down to -1m and has a detachable, adjustable strap which means it can be attached to the elastic band of a traditional headtorch for rear visibility or clipped onto a helmet, arm, bag, reinder antler and so on.

The light has two modes, blinking and constant, weighs 22 grammes including two CR2032 lithium batteries which are included and is guaranteed for three years. Battery shelf life is ten years, so you really can pop it in your pack or pocket and forget about it.

Should be ideal for those late-finishing walks that turf you out onto unlit lanes, for upping your cycling visibility or simply for wandering home from the pub. Price is £10For more details contact info@lyon.co.uk.

Recieved mine in the post today, small in size and the functions are a bright single led on constant or as flashing which is between the bright cental led and 2 on either side.

It could do with a little case like the e-lite but for £10 cant fault it, very bright!

Well my new Petzel Signal arrived yesterday and like all good gear freaks I couldn’t wait for it to get dark to try it out.

I was to say the least a little disappointed with the brightness of the item its says 1000m on the spec but I feel you would have difficulty seeing it at half that distance. The build quality is the same as the Petzl e+LITE Emergency Headlamp (very good) but I just wish they could have invested more in the power of the LEDS.
