New Review - Adidas Terrex Terrex Fast X FM Mid GTX

Cosmetics and three-stripe branding won't sit easily with everyone, but functionally, we really rate the TERREX Fast Mid.

The latest OM review is of the adidas TERREX Fast X FM Mid GTX, which is an awful lot of letters and initials for a lightweight walking boot.

There's a certain amount of skepticism when big general sports brands like adidas dip a toe into the outdoors market and we were slightly cynical about how well their kit would actually work, but the TERREX Fast Mid has grown on us and shows that the application of general running footwear expertise to lightweight outdoors kit really can reap rewards.

The TERREX Mid isn't going to suit everyone, but we reckon lightweight mids like these are a great compromise for boot wearers who want to lighter underfoot, but are wary of switching to full-on trail shoes.
