Attention to detail and construction quality is mind boggling.

Latest OM review is of the redesigned for this winter Arc'teryx Beta AR, a 440-gramme all-round mountain shell jacket that manages the neat trick of being light, packable and effective, while still feeling anything but fragile.

Not only that, but the Canadian-made jacket has incredible detailing, enviable construction quality and a mind-boggling attention to detail with tiny seam allowances and 13mm 'Tiny' seam-seaking tape and lots more. Buty you don't have to know what that is to appreciate the build quality. It also has the widest shoulders of any medium-sized jacket we've ever tested.
