New Review - Frankly Half-Zip Top

Initial user impressions of unusual merino wool/organic cotton base layer top.

'When you wear me nobody will know I'm here' is what the taping on the inside of the collar says... well, it made us smile.

Latest review on the site is a first look at Frankly's Half-Zip base layer top, an interesting bit of kit which uses a fabric produced by an ecologically sound union between pure merino wool on the inside face and organic cotton out front.

The idea is that the organic cotton's aggressive water-guzzling tendencies pulls moisture out from the merino and spreads it out over the surface of the garment to evaporate, while the merino does its usual, comfortable, next to skin gig. Nice idea and beautifully executed with great build quality, but how does it work out in the real world. Check out our full First Look for more.
