Latest OM site review is the Haglöfs Warm Active Zip Top, an ingenious mix of ethically-sourced merino wool and polyester synthetic fibres, with the merino sitting in a micro-gridded inner layer agains the skin and the polyester on the outside.
The idea is that you get the best of both worlds with a combination of merino-like comfort and synthetic wicking and drying abilities. Sounds good on paper, but how does it work where it matters, out on the hill?
