New Review - Smartwool Midweight Hoody

We check out Smartwool's unsual hooded winter base-layer top.

New on the site is a review of the unusual Smartwool Midweight Hoody, a sort of one stop illustration of just how much merino wool has changed over the past few years.

Not only is it a cracking shade of bright green rather than drab black, it also uses unusual textured shoulder panels and comes with an integral hood and thumb warmers. The hood you'll either 'get' or not, but if you think of it as a sort of omni-present balaclava, you won't go far wrong. It fits neatly under helmets and hoods and, hey, not even we can lose it.

Check out our full review.
