If you're one of those people who's always pouring coffee over
their sleeping bag / spare clothing / partner / dog / floor of the
tent while camping, then we might just have the answer for
you.
The Coffee Sling is an ingenious gizmo from American tent
specialists Sierra Designs and it's now available in the UK.
Essentially it's a cunning loop that hangs from the roof of your tent
and accommodates an insulated mug full of your fave hot beverage.
Think hammock for your drink, no more coffee-stained sleeping bags
and less delicate mincing around teetering mugs of coffee. You can
drink from the mug while it's safely swinging in mid-air. Of course,
if you're anything like us, you'll merely end up head-butting the thing
and delivering and air-borne, further penetrating blast of liquid as
a result, but hey...
Price is around £12.50 for two Coffee Slings, weight is just
85 grammes per sling and as far as we can make out, they should work
in any tent with a central hanging loop. For stockist information
