Fancy looking like a patriotic
Olympian in your technical insulation? Adidas is selling
the PrimaLoft insulated
jackets and Union Jack gilet, designed for the British
Winter Olympics Team, to the public.
The Union Jack Iconic
Gilet is a reversible, gender-specific sleeveless jacket
with a bright Union Jack on one side and a more subtle design
on the other. The insulation is water-resistant PrimaLoft and the shell
is a water-resistant microfibre. It's available in both men's and
women's versions and retails for £60.
Arguably a tad more subtle is the Team
GB Coach Jacket again in men's and women's cut and filled
with PrimaLoft with a Gore-Tex waterproof shell to keep the rain /
melting snow / champagne at bay. It retails for £220 and
is one of the few waterproof shell plus PrimaLoft jackets we're aware
of. Should work well in damp, cold conditions.
