Source Hydration Tweaked For 2010
Our favourite hydration system looks set to get even better next year with some subtle mods.

It's evolution rather than revolution in 2010
from Source,
the makers of our favourite hydration systems with some detail tweaks
making a really good product potentially even better.
There are two handy changes to the excellent wide-opening Wide-Pack
bladder. First, the clip that seals the top opening has been beefed up.
That's a good thing, because while the current seal is fine out of the
box, with heavy use - a year or more - the spring in the clip reduces
enough for small seepage under pressure.
The other main change is the addition of a pair of moulded 'eyes'
making the bladder much easier to hold upright and open during filling.
The dual opening WXP bladder, which is new for 2009, gets the same
modifications - the idea is to fill through the screw-cap and clean via
the wide-mouth opening up top.
Also new is a four-liter water carrier with tap that looks spot on for
mild camping and base-camp use. So, an already very good product
looking even better for next year.
