 Brand new from hydration
specialists, Source,
is the WXP Bladder
which combines both a wide and screw-top opening for maximum
versatility.
Up till now, you've had a choice of the wide-top opening found on the
Widepac bladders which is great for cleaning the bladder, but a tad
fiddly for filling, and the screw-top opening on the Clear
series, which is fine for filling from taps, but more problematic to
clean.
Best Of Both Worlds
The WXP gets both the neat fold-over wide-top opening and a screw-top
with handle meaning you get the best of both worlds. The bladder -
available in two-litre and three-litre versions - also features
Source's Grunge Guard anti-microbial technology and Glass-like inner
liner which is reckoned to be 1000% smoother than that of competitors
using PU films with only a 50% difference from glass itself and
prevents 'bio-film build-up'.
No Mouldy Bladders Here
The Source Widepac is out current bladder of choice here on OM, it's
easy to fill and clean and incredibly resistant to both tainting and
mould formation, even when thoroughly neglected. The new version looks
even more versatile and we're looking forward to testing it.
The new WXP Bladders retail for £19.99 in the two-litre size
and £21.99 for the three-litre version.
