Ten Haglofs Oz Pullovers Given Away
What's in the parcel on your doorstep? Something light, waterproof, and very very green?:-)

Ten lucky OUTDOORSmagic members found a very welcome parcel on their doorsteps last week, containing a very nice - and very green - Haglofs Oz Pullover. Yes, that means the Haglofs competition on OM has now finished and we picked the winners a few weeks ago, but we thought we'd keep the names secret until we were sure the Ozs had all arrived safely because, erm, we're nice and transparent like that :-)
If you entered the competition and you want to know who ran off with the goods - or you have a 'sorry you were out' card from the post office and you're feeling hopeful about what's in the parcel - then here's the answer. The winners were:
Caroline McCann from Derbyshire
Steve Garratt from Northamptonshire
Adrian McShane from Sussex
Samantha Temple from Newcastle
Mike Cooper from Sussex
James Ransome from Derby
Tracey Compson from Wiltshire
Dan Kelly from London
John Fuller from Lancashire
James Robertson from Crewe
These people should be feeling particularly smug right now as they're the owners of the only product that won a gold award at the European Outdoor Awards last year. The prize was partly for the weight - 175g for a large isn't bad going for a fully waterproof top - but other features include Gore-Tex® Paclite® fabric, a two piece upper to minimise seams and bulk, a laminated front pocket with reflective taping, articulated sleeves, and elasticated adjustable cuffs.
Is the Oz worth the award? Jon went biking around the Peak in one of them and gave us his thoughts. If anyone's formed a different impression, let us know what you think in the user review system where we now have nearly 6000 user reviews of every type of outdoor kit you could possibly need.
For more information about the Oz Pullover, and Haglofs range of 'Intense' gear, check the Haglofs website, or if it's freebies you're after, try the OUTDOORSmagic competition page. It's changing so fast we can hardly keep up with it at the moment:-)
