The Balls Should Not Bounce...

Move over Anna, Odlo are on a mission to add support to those tricky, bouncy male areas that we normally wouldn't mention on a family web site...

Obviously we're never flippant or silly here on OM, because let's face it, the outdoors is all about being serious, erm, not. So anyway, it was hard not to grin when Odlo revealed their latest underwear wheeze due out in Spring 2004...

Yep, the cunning Scandinavians have taken a leaf out of the Anna Kournikova book with a twist, this time the balls shouldn't bounce at all, or perhaps you can just decide how much with a new range of support underwear for men.

The range offers three different levels of support in various styles, so you can select the one most appropriate for your chosen sport and, presumably, level of endowment, so if you're a well-developed trampolinist then level three is for you, but for shrinking ramblers, you'll probably be fine with level one.

If you need more support then we're afraid you'll have to wait for March 2004, but we reckon it'll be worth it. And they're grey to start off with too, so no worries there.

Woolly Bits Too...

The other interesting addition to the Odlo range is the new Synergy kit launched in time for this winter. It combines Odlo's Polyester with fine-fibred Merino wool for a combination of thermal efficiency, wicking and comfort, they say.

We've been using a Smartwool Merino top for almost a year now and we're massively impressed with its next to skin performance. The Odlo fabric places the Merino (34%) against the skin for comfort and softness, while the polyester forms the outer layer for rapid moisterure transfer. We've got a Synergy top on test now, so we'll let you know how it works shortly.

More Odlo info? See the web site.
