A quick visual taster for you of something that landed at OUTDOORSmagic Mansions yesterday. It's a walking, talking, real life 2009 Osprey Exos 46 pack and it's a bit of a marvel of minimalist manufacture...

Stow and Go pole holder is back.

We'll have some very interesting news about the pack - due out early next year - very soon, but for now what we can tell you is that it tips our digital balance at a very real 1000 grammes on the nail, which may not sound much, but this is a pack with an aluminium frame to take decent weight loads, rather than one without a back system.

Alloy tubing back system promises support for heavier loads.
