The world's lightest twin-skin tent is just about to get significantly lighter according to tent-makers Terra Nova.

The company has slashed a not inconsiderable 130 grammes from the weight of the old Laserlite with the introduction of the new Lasder Competition which hits the shops in September. The Competition is the same size as its predecessor, which it replaces in the range, but has a minimum weight of just 860 grammes. As you can see from the pic below it's visually near identical to the Laserlite.

There are other changes to the Superlite range as well as some other sweeping updates, but we can't tell you about those just yet, so watch this space.>
