The North Face has opened its first dedicated TNF European store
in Covent Garden in partnership with Ellis Brigham.
Located at the site of the old Brigham store at 30-32 Southampton
Street, the new shop will be a mecca for anyone in the capital
wanting to buy clothing and kit from the major US brand. According to
Topher Gaylord, general manager of TNF in Europe, 'the store will
carry the complete line of The North Face authentic, technologically
advanced apparel, footwear and equipment.'
We have loads of other marketing speak and gobbledy gook quotes,
but the bottom line is that if you want to buy anything from the TNF
range and happen to be in the centre of London then the new store's
the obvious place to head for.
It's also reckoned to be an interesting visual experience with the
two-level shop having been redesigned by Italian architect Carlo
Saccardo with features like a glass-covered bridge across the
'lightwell' and a climbing wall located at one of the store's
entrances and visible from outside.
Opening hours are 10.00am to 7.00 pm Monday to Friday, 9.30 am to
6.30 pm on Saturday and 11.30 am to 5.30 pm on Sunday if you find
yourself trapped in WC2 and need some retail therapy. The store's
phone number is: 020 7240 9577 and 12 full-time employees will
minister to your every need...
