Between Friday 14th March and Sunday 16th March, show-goers will be
able to throw themselves into the Nike ACG Challenge and a formidable obstacle course
including ramps, zip-wires, walls and
scramble nets.
Participants will also get to try out the latest Nike ACG clothing
and footwear under race conditions and daily winners will also get to
keep the trial kit afterwards - saves on the Nike laundry bill we
guess.
There are two heats every day, each comprising 14 teams of two
people racing both against each other and the clock. Everyone will
get a special ACG pack and the fastest team over the three days of
the show will win a grand prize of £250-worth of Nike vouchers.
Places are limited, but entry is absolutely free, so if you want
to get stuck in, get yourself over to the OS
Outdoors Show site and register now.
More Nike stuff At the show Nike ACG will be showcasing the
latest range including the Oregon series footwear and clothing range
featuring the latest clothing technology. There will also be a
special stand in the canoe hall that will allow people to try the
Nike ACG amphibious footwear range. At the canoe stand and speaking
at the paddle workshop there will be guest appearances from Nike
athletes Anna Hemmings, world K2 Kayak champion (appearing on Friday
at 4pm and Saturday at 10.45am) and Brad Ludden (appearing on
Saturday at 4.15pm and Sunday at 12pm).
