Vango Launches New Website

Those nice tent, clothing, packs and more folk up at Vango in Scotland have launched a new-look web site complete with full details of their 2007 range.

The company says that the new site is extremely easy to navigate and has key information on all Vango's products. Among the new stuff is a whole range of Vango family tents and - a nice touch this - online video pitching instructions for them, something we'd like to see from other companies. You can also downloads pitching instructions for other tents in the Vango range - handy if you've alwayws wanted to know how to put your tent up.

To be honest, we reckon most OMers are more likely to be looking at Vango's new Ultralite range.. We've mentioned it before, but the new single-skin Ultralite 100 and Ultralite 200 tents look like excellent entry level lightweight shelters weighing in at a very respectable 1000 grammes and 1400 grammes respectively for one and two person versions. Prices are £130 and £150 and they look great as well.

Elsewhere on the site there's a walks section complete with a selection of routes - submit your own and you could win a flask - an appeal for consumer feedback and lots more.
