Win a Gore-Tex Mountain Equipment Jacket

Have you been paying attention to the Gore Top Tips? Here's the test.

Over the past 10 weeks we've published handy Gore Top Tips, from why you'd want GORE-TEX® in your galoshes to how to wash your garments. Now Gore are keen to know exactly how much you've taken in by asking these three multiple choice questions about GORE-TEX® fabric. Any OUTDOORSmagic member who submits three correct answers will be entered into a draw to win a Mountain Equipment 2-layer Gore-Tex XCR jacket (you should know exactly what that is now) worth £260.

All you have to do is answer the following three questions:

1. As well as being waterproof, what other properties does GORE-TEX fabric posess?
A - Windproof and breathable
B - Water-resistant and non-breathable
C - Water soluble and breath resistant

2. Other than GORE-TEX, name another fabric that Gore produce?
A - WINDCHEETER
B - WINDSTOPPER
C - WINDBREAKER

3. Name another use for GORE-TEX fabric other than in outdoor and sports wear?
A - Dental floss
B - Cocktail dress
C- A tasty pie filling

How to enter:
Send your answers, clearly numbered 1, 2 and 3, on an email to this address. OUTDOORSmagic members who submit correct answers before 5pm on Thursday February 14th will be entered into the draw to win either the Ama Dablam jacket (if you're female) or the Karakorum jacket (if you're male). The winner will be drawn next Friday and announced on the site. If you're not a member of the site, you can join in the box at the top left hand corner of this site now.

About Ama Dablam and Karakorum jackets:
The Mountain Equipment Karakorum and Ama Dablam jackets are made from 2-layer Gore-Tex XCR with a CoolMax mesh inner lining and weigh around 770g. The main features are waterproof underarm zips, single-handed Tankas and cuffs, two highly positioned outer pockets and two chest map pockets, drop-tail back and hood with adjustment and wired peak.
