Win A Winter Skills Weekend With Gore-Tex

Our latest great OM competition with Gore-Tex fabrics gives you the chance to win a fantastic winter skills weekend for two at Plas y Brenin, the Welsh National Mountain Centre in Snowdonia.

It's an ideal way for experienced summer hillwalkers to learn the techniques to endable them to tackle British winter hills at one of the best outdoor centres in the UK from excellent, highly qualified instructors and in some of the most beautiful mountain terrain in the world.

Gore-Tex and Plas y Brenin will provide travel to and from the Brenin and the prize includes instruction, hotel standard accommodation and food plus technical equipment hire for the weekend.

One item you won't need to hire will be a shell jacket since Mountain Equipment will be supplying the lucky winners with Gore-Tex XCR jackets to keep. Either a men's Ogre XCR or a women's Naga Parbat. Both retail at £220 and are made from tough, three-ply fabric.
