A quick 2010 taster from
Go System stoves with more details to follow. Their new
canister-top gas stove, the Fly-Ti is, they say, probably the lightest gas stove in the world.
As you've probably guessed, it's made from titanium for a combination
of lightness and resilience and at a claimed 50 grammes is almost half
the weight of the company's current lightest stove and has a pleasingly neat, machined feel to it.
Given that most stoves in the class weigh around 80 grammes - Primus
Express, Vargo Jet-ti, Pocket Rocket - that's quite impressive. The
lightest stove we're aware of curently is the Primus Micron Ti at 69
grammes....
Retail price, once the stove is available in early 2010 will be £34.99.
More details shortly. Information on the current Go System range at www.rekri8.co.uk. Stockists from 0116 234 4646.
