Just a quicky to let you know that the guys up at the Scottish
National Winter Sports Cente at Glenmore Lodge near Aviemore are
running a weekend seminar on winter climbing on the weekend of 23-25
February.
The first ever Winter Climbing Performance Seminar is aimed at
climbers from beginners right through to professional guides and
combines practical sessions on the hill with Lodge-based technical
sessions and lectures and talks.
Actually it's not quite that simple, the weekend actually consists
of around six mini-courses from technical mixed climbing through to
glacier travel and there's a full programme of FREE talks throughout
the weekend.
It's all a wee bit complicated for a Wednesday morning, so if you
want the full gen' plus prices and booking information, get yourself
over to the Glenmore Lodge web site section
dealing with the weekend. Or for more general information about the
Lodge and their extensive range of courses, click
