Just a quicky to let you know that the guys up at the Scottish National Winter Sports Cente at Glenmore Lodge near Aviemore are running a weekend seminar on winter climbing on the weekend of 23-25 February.

The first ever Winter Climbing Performance Seminar is aimed at climbers from beginners right through to professional guides and combines practical sessions on the hill with Lodge-based technical sessions and lectures and talks.

Actually it's not quite that simple, the weekend actually consists of around six mini-courses from technical mixed climbing through to glacier travel and there's a full programme of FREE talks throughout the weekend.

It's all a wee bit complicated for a Wednesday morning, so if you want the full gen' plus prices and booking information, get yourself over to the Glenmore Lodge web site section dealing with the weekend.
