AR World Champs This Weekend

A quick heads up for the Adventure Race World Championships which takes place this weekend on the west coast of Scotland and you can follow it live on Sleepmonsters.

The teams are taking on a 500km course across the mountains and glens of the highlands with 25,000 metres of ascent to tackle by a combination of running, cycling, swimming, paddling and anything else the organisers can think of.

We don't actually know that much about adventure racing, except that it's very, very hard, but we know someone who does in the form of sleepmonsters.com.

The site's going to be carrying live coverage of the event with a live news feed, reports and photos, direct from Scotland. Most ingenious of all, each team will be carrying a Sleepmonsters Adventure Tracker so you'll be able to see at a glance where they all are.
