Bovine Bomb Crumples Caravan Horror...

An unsuspecting caravan was taken out by a plummeting cow in a vaguely a-moos-ing incident at a Devon campsite...

A plummeting cow caused thousands of pounds worth of damage to a caravan when it tumbled 30 feet into a disused quarry.

The bovine bomb, which was grazing and, presumably, living close to the edge, landed between the quarry wall and the caravan making a sizeable dent in the side, which now needs replacing at a cost of around £2000.

The owners, a couple from Yorkshire, were told the news by the campsite owner when they arrived for a two-week holiday at the site in Devon. They thought it was 'totally humorous' and added that they hoped the cow, which damaged its leg in the fall, had learned its lesson.

It makes you wonder about caravan owners really. And about cows too I suppose. And maybe the relationship between the two. Full story on Yorkshire today. Personally I preferred the exploding cows - see below.

It might sound like a humerous rural episode, but to me it has dark undertones.

Could it have been one of these devices 9link below)that malfunctioned? I think we should be told.

Well as they say. If you are not living on the edge, you are taking up too much room.
