We've upgraded our forums - now cleverer than Jeremy Paxman...

We've just upgraded our forum to make it work more effectively,
you oughta go take
a look or we'll be forced into measures we'd rather not be forced
into, if you know what I mean, and I'm not sure I do.
The clever bit is that once you've joined the site - and you have
joined, haven't you, cos then you'll be automatically entered in a
draw to win a Craghoppers DriPac and be able to customise what you
see on OUTDOORSmagic (but still no naked walkers okay) - the forum
can let you know by e-mail as soon as someone replies to your
posting. Neat huh?
You can opt not to use this feature, but what's the point of
posting if you don't know if there's a reply?
Right now there's a swirling debate on the pros and cons of
GoLite's ultra-lightweight backpacking system in British conditions:

here
Then there's a curious dialogue about whether Harrogate is really
part of the north of England: click
here
And in the travel section, Sal is after advice on solo trekking in
East Africa: click
here
And Sylvain is off to climb some volcanoes in Ecuador: click
here
And there's loads more. Finally, as a member, at the bottom of
every article we run, you'll see there's an option to start a thread
based on that article, test or feature. Just click on the button and
tippy tap away on your keyboard.
And if you haven't joined,
why not? Tell your mates as well.
