You may have already noticed the great big tgo magazine logo on the left-hand side of this page. So what's going on? Well, OUTDOORSmagic and tgo are now partners: We're still distinct and separate entities, but with complementary functions. Which means? We'll be meeting up regularly with the tgo team for tea and cakes, ahem, or rather we'll be working together to give you the best of the on and offline worlds.
tgo on OUTDOORSmagic
If you click on tgo's logo on the left, or
here, you'll find the tgo section on OM. There's loads of information about tgo - find out what's coming up in the next issue, details of back issues and how to subscribe, as well as a special tgo mailing list you can join if you want to be sent updates on what's in the mag and when it's hitting the shops. You can also submit letters to the mag online and they've even got their own
live letters forum section where OM and tgo readers can mingle and talk about the mag with the people who make it.
OM forumites might be particularly interested to find out that January's issue (out December 4th) of tgo has a feature where Ed Douglas investigates windfarms - do the conservation cons outweigh the environmental pros? An issue currently hotly contested on the forum.
OUTDOORSmagic in tgo
If you're a tgo reader then don't be surprised to find regular contributions in tgo from OM's own editor, Jon Doran, from now on. Jon's no stranger to tgo magazine, having written for them in the past, but this time his ramblings will be accompanied with the OM logo. If you're just arriving at OM from the magazine, then do stick around, OUTDOORSmagic is the UK's best and brightest outdoor community site. We update the site daily with news, regular features and reviews. Richard Gear is our gear guru ready to answer your every question and there's a wealth of information and advice shared by members in the review section and on the forum and anywhere else around the site where they can get a word in.
We think tgo mag is great - obviously, or we wouldn't be partnering with them - and we're really excited to be working with them and developing new ways of bringing all our readers the best of the outdoors, indoors.
But of course the best thing about this new partnership really is that you can now read something of OM while you're on the loo...
