Woah, feel that frost. Just the time of year in fact when you
start pining for something warm and windproof but still light and
compact enough to stash away during those sweaty uphill slogs. Sounds
good? We've tested what may be the
answer.
The again, you might prefer to be wandering across a tensioned
rope hundreds of feet above the Yosemite Valley, erm, what?
Check out the gripping video clips of Leo Houlding promoting Berghaus
new Big
Wall range. It's very new and very technical.
And talking of technical, if Jack's Rake on Pavey Ark is a tad
pedestrian for you, this week's scramble
route is an exhilarating alternative to the classic grade
one. And don't forge the rest of our routes
archive with loads of quality walks and scrambles to keep
your busy this weekend.
Fingers crossed that the cold, crisp, brightness holds for the
weekend. We're just putting together a Buyer's Guide to insulated
clothing, which should be up on the site tomorrow.
Have a good one,
Jon and the team at OUTDOORSmagic.com editor@outdoorsmagic.com
