Pics Win Prizes

Sprayway is sponsoring the photographic print competition at this year's Kendal Mountain Film Festival in, er, Kendal. Last year Sprayway photographer, Mike Swallow, won Observer Outdoor Photographer of the Year 1999 for one of his Sprayway ice climbing pictures and the company is planning to feature the best images from the competition in their 2001 calendar.

The closing date is 1 November 2000 and black and white or colour photographic prints of outdoor scenes and activities are eligible. You could photograph anything from active stuff like mountain biking, climbing or walking, or still lifes of mountain scenery and landscapes.

The winning six entries will be awarded cash prizes and a selection of the best work will be exhibited in the Gallery of the Brewery Arts Centre during the Festival.
