Can I thank the many people who over the last 18months who have forwarded me information Concerning ULTIMATE EQUIPMENT and PHOENIX MOUNTAINEERING LTD in particular glenngeorge69 who had given me the factory location on Walnut St Halifax recent aquired leaflets have now shown me Ultimate started life in Northumberland at the following location Ultimate Equipment Ltd The Butts Warkworth Morpeth Northumberland NE65 0SP Before moving to Ultimate Eqipment Ltd Ryburne Mills Hanson Lane Halifax West Yorks HX1 4SE Then to Ultimate Equipment Ltd Walnut St Halifax West Yorks HX1 4DL Once again many thanks,and to glenngeorge69 special thanks for providing the missing piece of the jigsaw. |

PHOENIX MOUNTAINEERING REUNION A FORMER Amble-based business is holding a reunion to bring old employees back together.Phoenix Mountaineering, which was on what is now the Coquet Enterprise Park, is having the event on Saturday, April 24 at The Trap in Broomhill, starting at 7pm. Last orders are at midnight, while music will run until 12.30am.
Anyone who was employed or was closely associated with Phoenix is welcome to attend.
The well-renowned company had many highlights, including making the ski wear for James Bond film The World Is Not Enough.
Tickets for the reunion are available at The Harbour Chip Shop and Amanda Hume Hairdresser.
