Thanks for the heads up A the B!
Kate, I've dropped you a message. thanks
Hmmm, thanks for the heads up. Not entirely sure if I'll try it yet. I just don't find walking in bogs that much fun! I'll also have my dog with me and a smelly muddy dog in the tent isn't great!
My other option is the Edale Skyline walk (its about the same distance from home - North London), hopefully that's less wet
Thanks. How plungy is it?
My usual plan is trail runners as well, but if its looking particularly cold and disgusting I sometimes use boots and gaiters
Looking for a circular overnight walk this weekend. Was thinking of doing the Black mountains horseshoe from Llanbedr
How wet and boggy is it likely to be? Has anyone been up there recently? Particularly thinking about Waun Fach
I've never found that cowboy coffee works, always get grounds in my mouth
Starbucks Via is a fine replacement given how simple it is
The other option I have is a GSI ultralight java drip. Its basically just a filter that I clip it to the top of my cup. I often use a paper filter to make clear up easier
Put in the grinds, pour in the water, waters drips through, job done
