i went last year and thought i was really good so i went this year and took my son telling him how good it was, he said it was crap and i had to agree with him,
there wasnt half as much going on or on show as last year,we only spent an hour there after driving for 2 hours to get there
i was actually in the shop and they had mens and womens for £89 and they also had them at £140 aswell , i will be sticking to the mens boots i think ha
hi,im looking into investing in a pair of meindl borneos and have been shopping around as the price of them varies considerably from shop to shop, Field and Trek are selling for £89. an i was wondering if anybody knows how they can sell them at that price?
And are they any different from other retailers stock i.e seconds, old stock etc? for them to be able to sell at that price,
any info on this as ive read the reviews on these boots and really want a pair and a£60 difference from one shop to another is something to think about,
It seems the quality of the argument has drifted a bit and a few posters have unfortunately resorted to arguments that I don't really like.
I just don't like money being chucked around on projects which might not work aimed at solving problems that might not exist.
During a couple of weeks in the Lakes recently I was genuinely pleased to see a couple of groups of Indian or Pakistani descent, and also a big group of lads of late school age from all sorts backgrounds (mainly black and Asian but also a couple of white lads), which might or might not have been an outreach group or an inner city school trip of some sort.
Walking is at the moment a pretty white middle class pursuit - it will become less white as the middle class becomes less white.
i couldnt agree more,an on that note im baleing on this one now as national geographic are showing how Miendel boots are made on How it works
