Congrats on the new look site.....must be something to do with the temperature up here, but it works perfectly well in Hartlepool. It appears that the same humour exists and hasn't been removed by the aliens. Good to see your link to the Whitley Bay Citizen last week. A class read. You can't beat us Northerners for laughs!!!! Have you heard about us hanging a monkey????????

Haven't had chance to shop online for a while due to isp breakdown, but got a pair of Lowe Alpine long haul pants for £19.95 at Keswick Mountain Sports the other day. They were selling them for £50 up the road at George Fishers!!!!!!!!

Just spent a marvellous week up north. Stopped in Spean Bridge, just outside FW. Plenty of gear shops in FW as you say. Ellis Brigham has a large shop(just behind the train station)selling loads of top quality stuff.

Don't miss a visit to Grog & Gruel pub in the high street.....pay a visit to them on the web before you go, then play on the web cam to show the friends back home when you get there!!!! Its a good ale and food pub with brilliant staff.

Enjoy yourselves.......my wife and I did because we left the kids with her sister.
