Right, there are now three of the brazen little so-and-so's.
The noises have been increasing so I went up for a look this morning. Rentokil man has left a cage trap which has been tripped but there is nothing inside, rat traps (like big mouse traps) they are set and rat poison.
I saw a squirrel in the eaves on the side of the roof where the trees are, as I approached it stayed where it was until I was 10 feet away then went down towards the soffit (?), then I saw a hump in the loft insulation and there were two more in there.
I've written to the leaseholder asking that the trees be cut/removed as a matter of urgency as three in residence may see one chew an electricity cable and cause a fire - unlikely I know but I have to put something in writing to try to get the urgency across to them.
James, I may be in the market for a borrow of your air rifle if I can convince my Buddhist wife that this is a good idea.
